Have you ever wondered where the  information in the cloud is stored? I hadn't given much thought. I just upload pictures and text, in the hope that someone might read it sometime.
I had the opportunity  to visit the data centre where this web site is  stored and took some pictures to share with you.
I thought it was a Green environment - I was wrong.

UPSs (Uninterruptable Power Supply) continues to supply 240v from its battery if the mains supply fails.

There are two of these that power the six switches.
The data centre has its own UPS and Generator that supplies the whole building to ensure its mains supply anyway.

Other tools and equipment spotted were a knife, the Macbook portable laptop, but I did not spot the hammer.
