8 - Pipedream Mailmerge

Introduction
A few years ago David Stewart wrote to me with his suggestion on Mailmerge, His Pipedream file is avalable here as a download. After some trauma here is my report on mailmerge. I hope that it will be of use to you. The printout is from the office LaserJet. I first finished the report on Friday during my lunch hour, put it through the Spellmaster, having first deleted unwanted suspended activities, saved the corrected file, loaded it into Pipedream and bingo! it had gone. It would seem that Spellmaster does not tell when you have run out of space!		As the first thing that happens on giving a file save instruction seems to be the deletion of the original file you can end up with no file. Anyway Z-tape saved the day. I have tried to write the report so that someone who has not got to grips with the instruction manual should be able to follow my ideas. I will be interested to know if you can follow them. When I wrote the report the examples were "live" and so I was using all the columns. I have now just reproduced the effect of the database and all the report is in column A. (I hope). I have not written this for gain, rather to help the Z88 on its way. Indeed if you do insist on any payment I shall donate it to the Trust that are sending my daughter to Indonesia, they being indirectly responsible for me having to get to grips with mailmerge in the first place.
