Introduction
| When
the Z88 first came out, the only way to run additional applications was
by buying them on additional EPROM cards. These cards were used to
store the ROM image of the application and they were fixed both where
they were and were not user configuable. |  |

the release of OZ 4.6.2, applications are able to be run in RAM,
allowing the user to decide whether to install it on their Z88. There
are a number of games available on the internet and can be transferred
to the Z88 using Eazylink2. See the Z88 Internet Links section on the Right-Hand side for the link. |

In the begining when
the Flash EPROM could only have Applications or Files, it was
a good idea to have ALL the Applications on one device.
|
Some
users prefer to run their Z88 using the in-built OZ 3.0 software and
have these applications in ROM so here they are again (with the
exception of Flashstore which is not on this compilation). Use
EP-Fetch-2. All the applications are shown in the right-hand side menu column together with the manuals and other details. |

Application 2012 has 49 of the useful applications written for the Z88. Excluding the Diary to Imp-Exp which are on the Z88 anyway, there is just a small area for read-only files which cannot be deleted.

This ROM does not include any extras (like cables for PC Link). These need to be ordered separately if required. Most Manuals are available
on the internet. They can be supplied at at extra cost. It depends on the author and whether I have a copy of the manual to ship to you. In the spare portion of the ROM, there is the app2012.txt file which can be downloaded to the RAM (with EP-FetcH2) and Unzipped (using unzip). |

SpellMaster

has

QuickEdit
Quickedit is an integrated text editor and spelling checker. It is a word processor like PipeDream; enabling text to be entered and edited with the minimum of fuss. There are no printer commands like BOLD, UNDERLINE which makes it ideal for simple fast text editing.
Unlike PipeDream it does not split lines and theTAB key is a real TAB rather than jumping to another column,
It can check spelling of a complete document (including an existing PipeDream one) or 'as you type' in QuickEdit. Any regularly used words which are not in the main dictionary, can be added to a user dictionary. Additional information like Word Count and Number of lines are shown in the Information window.
